A pit-less weighbridge is a truck scale whose steel deck stands above ground on concrete pedestals, with approach ramps at both ends. It needs no excavation pit, so it does not flood, its load cells are easy to reach, and civil work is lighter. How high is a pit-less deck above ground?

The deck sits on pedestals with approach ramps at both ends. Exact deck height and ramp length are shown on the foundation drawing for your size.

Can a pit-less deck be moved later?

The steel deck can be lifted and re-installed on a new foundation. For frequent moves, choose the modular weighbridge.

What warranty do you give?

Every Symphony weighbridge carries a 1-year warranty on the platform, load cells and electronics. Concrete (RCC) platforms also carry a 25-year structural warranty on the concrete.

How soon can you deliver?

Generally about 2 weeks from a commercially cleared order with your purchase order. Installation, calibration and stamping follow once the foundation is ready.

What is the difference between a pit-less and a pit-type weighbridge?

A pit-less deck stands above ground on concrete pedestals and uses approach ramps. A pit-type deck sits flush with the ground in a drained pit, so vehicles can enter from any side. Pit-less is faster and simpler to build; pit-type suits tight plots.
