Weighbridge error cost & stamping due date.
What a small weighing error costs you, and when your weighbridge is due for re-verification. Use your own figures. Nothing is stored or sent unless you tap WhatsApp.
What does a small error cost you?
A weighbridge that drifts out of calibration reads every load a little wrong. On a busy gate that adds up to real money, whether you are buying or selling by weight.
Example figures; type your own. Error sizes are illustrations, not the accuracy of any particular weighbridge. Regular calibration keeps readings true: an AMC covers calibration, and we give stamping support for the annual re-verification.
When is your weighbridge due for re-verification?
A weighbridge used for trade must be re-verified and stamped by Legal Metrology every 12 months. Enter the date of the last verification and plan the next one before it lapses.
Due on or before this date; the date on your verification certificate governs. Your date stays on your device unless you tap WhatsApp. Plan the visit a month ahead, so the weighbridge can be checked and calibrated before the inspection.
Eleven questions to ask any weighbridge supplier.
Ask every supplier the same questions and compare the answers side by side. Tick as you go, then save or print the list.
Keep every reading true and stamped.
