Amreli weighbridges for cotton gins and Pipavav cargo.
Amreli is cotton and groundnut country: kapas from its villages fills the ginning and pressing factories each winter, and groundnut feeds the oil mills. On the coast, Pipavav port and the limestone and cement belt around Rajula and Jafrabad add heavy truck traffic. Symphony supplies weighbridges, truck scales and dharam kanta (धर्म कांटा) across Amreli district.
For an Amreli cotton ginning factory, a 60 MT pit-less weighbridge with a 16 m deck weighs kapas trolleys in and bale trucks out, with slips the farmer can trust; Pipavav port transporters need 60–100 MT on 18 m and Rajula limestone tippers 80 MT. Symphony builds both in Ahmedabad.
Ready before the kapas arrives, sealed against lint.
- Ready for the kapas seasonCalibration and an AMC check before the first cotton arrivals, so trolleys are weighed and slips printed without a queue.
- Sealed against lint and dustIP67/IP68 load cells and a closed junction box for ginning yards, where loose lint clogs open electronics.
- Port and quarry capacity18 m decks of 60–100 MT for Pipavav container trailers, and concrete (RCC) decks for limestone tippers.
Who needs one in Amreli: Cotton ginning and pressing factories, groundnut oil mills and traders, the market yards of the district, Pipavav port with its container and bulk cargo transport, limestone quarries and cement plants around Rajula and Jafrabad, and fishing at Jafrabad.
Also called a dharam kanta (धर्म कांटा), truck scale or weigh bridge. We also serve Savarkundla, Rajula, Babra, Lathi, Bagasara, Dhari.

Cotton ginning and pressing
Farmers are paid on the net weight of kapas, arrivals come in a few busy months, and lint in the yard clogs open electronics.
Our setup: A 60 MT, 16 m pit-less deck with sealed load cells, a closed junction box and SMFW slips printing the farmer's name and lot number.
Groundnut oil mills and traders
Groundnut pods, oil tankers and oilcake trucks all cross the same gate, so in and out weights must reconcile with the stock register.
Our setup: A 40–60 MT pit-less deck of 12–16 m, with SMFW reports that separate purchase, sale and stock transfer.
Pipavav port and coastal cargo
Container trailers and bulk tippers run day and night, and export containers need a verified gross mass (VGM) declared under SOLAS rules, weighed on a Legal Metrology–stamped weighbridge.
Our setup: A 60–100 MT, 18 m deck in pit-less steel or steel-cum-RCC, stamped for trade, with unmanned RFID and camera weighing for night shifts.

Cotton season, coastal cargo: one district, two loads.
Most of Amreli's weighing happens in the cotton season. From the first kapas picking to the end of the arrivals, tractor-trolleys and trucks queue at the ginning factories and every farmer is paid on the net weight, so the kanta must be stamped, quick and printed. Bales then leave by truck for spinning mills and ports, and cottonseed and oilcake go to the oil mills, so the same weighbridge works in both directions. Ginning yards are dusty and full of loose lint, which clogs open junction boxes and is a fire risk: sealed IP67/IP68 load cells, a closed junction box and regular cleaning under the deck matter here. On the coast, Pipavav container trailers need an 18 m deck, and limestone tippers in the Rajula–Jafrabad belt suit a heavy concrete (RCC) deck, backed by a 25-year structural warranty on the RCC concrete (T&C apply).

From season plan to the first kapas slip.
Six steps for your project in Amreli. Most of the waiting is the foundation curing, so the drawing comes first.
- 1 · Your traffic in AmreliTell us the heaviest vehicle you weigh (here, typically tractor-trolleys, bale trucks), the space at the gate and the daily count. An engineer replies within one working day.
- 2 · Size and quotationOur usual starting point (cotton ginning and pressing factory): 60 MT, 16 m deck, Pit-less steel. The quotation comes with the foundation drawing.
- 3 · Foundation on siteYour civil contractor builds the concrete pedestals to our drawing; we can check the levels before the deck arrives.
- 4 · Fabrication and dispatchBuilt and tested in our Ahmedabad workshop; dispatch in about 2 weeks from a commercially cleared order with PO, then delivered and placed on your foundation.
- 5 · Installation and calibrationDeck placed, load cells and indicator connected and calibrated, slip printing set up, and Legal Metrology verification supported.
- 6 · AMC and serviceAMC, breakdown visits, calibration and annual re-verification support from our technical desk, so the weighbridge stays accurate for years.
