After the soybean harvest, and again when wheat and gram arrive, tractor-trolleys come in all at once; with two decks, one can take loaded trolleys while the other takes empty ones, and if one is down for service or re-verification, the other keeps the mandi weighing. Most loads are tractor-trolleys and 2–3 axle trucks, so a 16 m deck of 60–80 MT takes the usual tractor-trolleys and trucks in one weighing. Mandi dust and spilled grain collect under a deck, so a pit-less deck with a gap that is easy to sweep, sealed IP67/IP68 load cells and a closed junction box keep the reading true. The farmer, the commission agent and the buyer each want a copy of the slip, so SMFW prints the vehicle number, the commodity and the party names on every weighment.
