Neemuch weighbridges for herb traders and the cement belt.
Neemuch, on the Malwa plateau along the Rajasthan border, became a district of its own in 1998. Its krishi upaj mandi is one of the country's best-known markets for medicinal and spice crops such as ashwagandha, isabgol, kalonji and coriander, and it also trades garlic, soybean, wheat and gram. Limestone from the Jawad area feeds a large cement plant at Khor, and stone crushers supply building material across the district. Manasa, Jawad, Singoli, Rampura and Jiran are its main market towns. Symphony supplies weighbridges, truck scales and dharam kanta (धर्म कांटा / tol kanta) across Neemuch district.
Neemuch herb traders weigh one truck several times as each farmer's lot is unloaded, so they need a 40–60 MT, 12–16 m weighbridge verified for trade, with a slip for every weighing; cement-belt transporters and crushers around Khor need 80–100 MT on 16–18 m in concrete (RCC) or heavy pit-less steel; a grading or processing unit 60 MT on 16 m; a public weighbridge 60–100 MT on 16–18 m (dharam kanta). Symphony builds it in Ahmedabad and dispatches it about 2 weeks after a commercially cleared order with PO.
A clear net weight for every farmer's lot, even when one truck carries several.
- Lot-by-lot weighingWeigh again after each farmer's lot is unloaded, with a printed SMFW slip each time.
- Class III weighing for every lotClass III OIML R76 weighing and a fresh tare for bulky, light herb loads.
- Heavy duty for the cement belt80–100 MT concrete (RCC) or heavy steel for limestone, coal and fly-ash tippers.

Light herb lots and heavy limestone: two very different loads in Neemuch.
Neemuch's mandi trade is made of many small, light lots. Ashwagandha roots, isabgol and kalonji are bulky but light, and one truck often carries the lots of several farmers, so the trader weighs the vehicle again after each lot is unloaded and pays on the difference. Every one of those weighings needs a fresh reading and a printed SMFW slip with vehicle number, gross, tare and net weight, on a weighbridge built to Class III OIML R76. In the Jawad and Khor belt the loads are the opposite: limestone, coal, fly ash and gypsum move on tippers and bulkers to and from the cement plant and its contractors, so a transporter's or supplier's weighbridge should be 80–100 MT on 16–18 m in concrete (RCC) or heavy pit-less steel, with robust ramps. Plateau black soil softens and swells in the rains, so the foundation goes down to firm strata or a compacted base as the drawing specifies, and a raised pit-less weighbridge with open sides is easier to keep dry.
