Marble is a hard load for a weighbridge. A single block can weigh 20 tonnes or more and sits on a small area of the trailer bed, so the weight reaches the platform through a few axles instead of being spread along the whole truck. Tell us the heaviest block you handle: we size the main girders and the load cells for that concentrated load, not just for the total capacity, and ask for the rated axle (concentrated) load in the quotation. Take 80–100 MT if you weigh loaded quarry block trailers. Load and unload blocks with the crane away from the platform, never on it; a block dropped on the weighbridge can bend a cross member or shock a load cell. Marble dust and slurry water spread across every unit yard, so keep the weighbridge on raised ground with a clear drain on both sides, use IP67/IP68 load cells with a sealed junction box, and wash the platform edges and the gaps between modules every week. Much of Rajsamand stands on hard rock; a pit-less steel weighbridge on pedestals needs little digging, while a concrete (RCC) weighbridge suits a unit that wants a top that does not rust under wet slurry.
