Kota weighbridges for Kota stone, coriander and fly ash.
Kota is the trading and industrial centre of the Hadoti region on the Chambal. Its Bhamashah grain mandi handles soybean, wheat, mustard and coriander from the Hadoti districts, Ramganj Mandi is known both for its coriander (dhania) trade and for Kota stone, the grey-green limestone slabs quarried and cut in the district, and the industrial belt along the Chambal has chemical, fertiliser and engineering units and a large thermal power station. Symphony supplies weighbridges, truck scales and dharam kanta or tol kanta (धर्म कांटा / तौल कांटा) across Kota district.
A Kota stone cutting unit needs a 60–80 MT weighbridge (dharam kanta or tol kanta) with a 16 m concrete (RCC) deck; a coriander or grain trader 40–60 MT on 16 m, and a fly ash or brick unit 60 MT on 16 m with sealed load cells. Symphony builds the truck scale in Ahmedabad.
Kota stone is heavy, coriander is bulky: size the deck for both.
- Heavy axle loads, every tripSlab trucks run heavy on every axle, so a 60–80 MT concrete (RCC) deck with headroom weighs every slab truck; 25-year structural warranty on RCC (T&C).
- Full before it is heavyCoriander bags fill a truck body well before its weight limit, so a 16 m deck that takes the whole truck matters more than extra capacity.
- Sealed against ash and dustIP67/IP68 load cells, a closed junction box and a clear gap round the deck keep readings steady in an ash or stone yard.

Kota stone cutting and polishing units
Rough slabs come in from the quarries and cut, polished stone leaves for buyers across India; purchases and freight settle on weight, and every slab truck runs heavy on its axles.
Our setup: A 60–80 MT concrete (RCC) deck of 16 m, with SMFW slips for rough stone in and finished stone out by party.
Coriander, soybean and mustard traders
The farmer is paid on weight at the mandi; coriander bags fill a truck long before its weight limit, while soybean and wheat trucks run heavy.
Our setup: A 16 m pit-less steel deck, 40 MT where the trade is mostly coriander and bags, 60 MT where soybean and wheat trucks run full, with printed slips at the gate.
Fly ash, brick and block makers
Fly ash and pond ash are lifted by bulker and tipper and bought by weight, and a brick or block unit checks every load it pays for.
Our setup: A 60 MT, 16 m pit-less deck with sealed IP67/IP68 load cells and a sweepable gap, because fine ash works its way into every opening.

Hadoti heat and stone slurry: shade the indicator, seal the cells.
Kota's two biggest trades load a truck in opposite ways. Kota stone yards weigh rough slabs in and cut, polished stone out, often for different parties on the same day, so the slip must carry the party and challan for each trip and the deck must take heavy axle loads every trip; a concrete (RCC) deck suits it, and stone dust and cutting slurry must be kept out of the gap round the deck. Coriander is the opposite: a truck of dhania bags is full long before it is heavy, so deck length matters more than extra tonnes, and the slip must be clear enough for the trader and the farmer to settle on it. Fly ash from the power station and the ash ponds is fine and gets everywhere, so choose sealed IP67/IP68 load cells and a closed junction box. Kota summers are very hot, so house the indicator in a ventilated cabin out of direct sun; in the monsoon, drain the approaches and the foundation so rain water does not collect under the deck.

From the slab truck at the gate to a slip for stone in and out.
Six steps for your project in Kota. Most of the waiting is the foundation curing, so the drawing comes first.
- 1 · Your traffic in KotaTell us the heaviest vehicle you weigh (here, typically trucks with rough and cut slabs), the space at the gate and the daily count. An engineer replies within one working day.
- 2 · Size and quotationOur usual starting point (kota stone cutting / polishing unit): 60–80 MT, 16 m deck, Concrete (RCC). The quotation comes with the foundation drawing.
- 3 · Foundation on siteYour civil contractor builds the concrete pedestals to our drawing; we can check the levels before the deck arrives.
- 4 · Fabrication and dispatchBuilt and tested in our Ahmedabad workshop; dispatch in about 2 weeks from a commercially cleared order with PO, then delivered and placed on your foundation.
- 5 · Installation and calibrationDeck placed, load cells and indicator connected and calibrated, slip printing set up, and Legal Metrology verification supported.
- 6 · AMC and serviceAMC, breakdown visits, calibration and annual re-verification support from our technical desk, so the weighbridge stays accurate for years.
