Ratlam weighbridges for soybean mandis and namkeen makers.
Ratlam is a Malwa market town and a major railway junction: soybean, wheat, gram and garlic come into its mandis from the black-soil farms, its namkeen makers turn gram flour and edible oil into the GI-tagged Ratlami sev, and the Delhi–Mumbai Expressway now runs through the district. Symphony supplies weighbridges, truck scales and dharam kanta (धर्म कांटा / तौल कांटा) across Ratlam district.
For a Ratlam or Jaora mandi trader or public dharam kanta, a stamped 60 MT weighbridge with a 16 m deck takes tractor-trolleys and loaded trucks; a namkeen or food unit can use 30–40 MT on a 9–12 m deck, and expressway contractors a modular truck scale. Symphony, a weighbridge manufacturer since 1998, supplies it across Ratlam district.
GeM railway supply record, Malwa-ready foundations.
- Foundations for black soilPit-less decks on pedestals set on firm strata or a compacted base, with drains, so monsoon swelling does not shift the levels.
- Slips that settle farmer accountsGross, tare and net with the farmer’s or party’s name on every SMFW slip, so mandi settlements need no second weighing.
- Railway supply experienceGeM supply to Central Railway Bhusawal: our documents and test reports are ready for railway and government buyers.
Who needs one in Ratlam: Soybean, wheat, gram, garlic and onion trade at the Ratlam and Jaora mandis, soybean processing and oil units, namkeen and food manufacturing, construction material for the expressway and roads, railway contractors and suppliers, and transport and warehousing in the district.
Also called a dharam kanta (धर्म कांटा), truck scale or weigh bridge. We also serve Jaora, Alot, Sailana, Namli, Piploda.

Mandi traders and public kantas
Soybean, wheat, gram and garlic arrive in short post-harvest peaks, and every tractor load is settled on its weight.
Our setup: A stamped 60 MT, 16 m pit-less deck with SMFW slips (gross, tare, net and party name), calibrated before the soybean arrivals.
Namkeen and food units
Gram flour, edible oil and spices come in, packed cartons go out; stock control depends on knowing what really came through the gate.
Our setup: A compact 30–40 MT deck of 9–12 m inside the factory gate, with slips that carry the invoice or challan number.
Expressway and road contractors
Aggregate, sand and ready-mix move by tipper and transit mixer, and the site office moves when the stretch is finished.
Our setup: A 60 MT modular deck. No foundation required: installs within hours on a hard, level surface such as concrete. Re-verify it under Legal Metrology after each move.

Black soil moves with the monsoon: build the base first.
Malwa black soil swells in the monsoon and cracks in summer, so the weighbridge foundation must sit on firm strata or a properly compacted base, built to our drawing, with drains that carry rain away from the pit-less pedestals. Arrivals at the mandis peak after the soybean harvest, when tractor-trolleys and trucks queue at the kanta, so the deck must be long enough for the trailers and the slip printer quick enough for the queue. A food or namkeen unit is a lighter, steadier duty: gram flour, oil tins and packed cartons come and go in smaller trucks, and a compact deck that fits inside the factory gate is often enough. Namkeen units buy gram flour and oil by the tanker and tonne; weighing every inward load protects the recipe cost of Ratlami sev.
