Basalt under the yard: ask about a pit-less or modular deck.
Much of Pune stands on the basalt of the Deccan plateau, in many places only a little below a layer of murum, while some eastern areas have black soil; so digging a deep weighbridge pit can mean breaking rock, which is slow and costly. A pit-less deck, or a modular deck on an existing concrete yard, avoids most of that excavation; our foundation drawing is set after a soil check of your plot. The western side towards the ghats, around Talegaon, Urse and Lonavala, gets heavy monsoon rain, so slope the yard away from the deck and use sealed IP67/IP68 load cells. Supplier gates in the auto belt work to delivery slots, and a slow weighbridge holds up the whole gate, so many plants weigh with SMFW and RFID tags, and some add the unmanned option (RFID, cameras, boom barrier) for night shifts.
