Bhind weighbridges for mustard mandis, oil mills and Malanpur plants.
Bhind, in the Chambal doab of northern Madhya Pradesh where the Chambal and the Sindh cut through ravine country, is the mustard district of the state. The Krishi Upaj Mandis at Bhind, Gohad, Mehgaon, Lahar, Mau, Alampur and Mihona fill with sarson from February; kacchi-ghani oil mills and expellers across the district press it into oil and khal; wheat, bajra and gram follow through the year; the Malanpur industrial area in Gohad tehsil holds food, pharmaceutical, chemical, textile, steel-tube and engineering plants; dairies collect buffalo milk from the Chambal villages; and brick kilns and building suppliers work the Gwalior–Etawah road. Symphony supplies weighbridges, truck scales and dharam kanta (धर्म कांटा / tol kanta) across Bhind district.
A mustard-oil mill in Bhind usually needs a 40–60 MT, 12–16 m pit-less steel weighbridge stamped for trade, long enough for a tractor with a heaped sarson trolley; a mandi commission agent 40–60 MT on 12–16 m; a plant in the Malanpur industrial area 60–100 MT on 18 m with the unmanned option (RFID, cameras, boom barrier); a dairy or a flour mill 30–40 MT on 9–12 m; a public weighbridge on the Gwalior–Etawah road 60–100 MT on 16–18 m (dharam kanta). Symphony builds it in Ahmedabad and dispatches it about 2 weeks after a commercially cleared order with PO.

Mandi traders, oil mills, dairies and Malanpur plants across Bhind district.
Mustard mandi traders
Sarson comes heaped on tractor-trolleys from February to April, is bought by the lot after the oil-content and moisture check, and leaves for the oil mills in 10-wheel trucks; the mandi's busiest weeks of the year are also the weeks when a disputed weight costs the most.
Our setup: A 40–60 MT, 12–16 m pit-less steel weighbridge, stamped, that takes the tractor and its heaped trolley together, with SMFW slips carrying the grower, lot and vehicle and daily reports by buyer.
Malanpur industrial plants
Raw material arrives on 40-foot trailers and multi-axle trucks, finished goods leave the same way on three shifts, and every weight has to tie to a gate pass and an invoice without the gate becoming the bottleneck.
Our setup: An 18 m weighbridge at 60–100 MT, in pit-less steel or concrete (RCC), with the unmanned option (RFID, cameras, boom barrier), stored tares for regular trailers and SMFW reports by party, material and shift.
Dairies and cattle-feed units
Buffalo milk comes in from the Chambal villages by the tanker and the can, khal and feed go out by the bag and the truck, and the same gate serves a few regular vehicles many times a day.
Our setup: A 30–40 MT, 9–12 m pit-less steel weighbridge, stamped, with stored tares for the regular tankers and SMFW reports by route and shift.

Doab loam, ravine margins, dense January fog and 46 °C: building a weighbridge in Bhind.
Sarson fills the Bhind yards first, so the mandi platform is sized for it. The mustard harvest starts in February, and by March the Bhind, Gohad, Mehgaon and Lahar yards are lined with tractor-trolleys heaped with seed and 10-wheel trucks loading for the oil mills of the district and the crushing and refining trade beyond it, so a commission agent's 40–60 MT, 12–16 m pit-less steel weighbridge is the busiest platform of the year through March and April, and every SMFW slip carries the grower, the lot and the vehicle. An oil mill keeps the seed moving the other way all year: trolleys and trucks of sarson in from the mandi and from the mill's own stock, oil out in tins and by the tanker, khal out by the bag and the truck to the dairy and cattle-feed trade; the expeller yield between seed, oil and cake is the mill's accounting, so the gate keeps seed-in and oil-and-khal-out as separate reports and the regular tankers have stored tares. Wheat fills the same yards from April, bajra and gram follow, and the mandi year rests only in the monsoon. The Malanpur industrial area is a different gate: raw material arrives on 40-foot trailers and multi-axle trucks, finished goods leave the same way on three shifts, and a plant takes an 18 m platform at 60–100 MT with the unmanned option (RFID, cameras, boom barrier) so the queue clears without a clerk and every weight is tied to a gate pass. The ground across the doab is alluvial loam that bears well and drains, but the margins along the Chambal, the Kunwari and the Sindh are gullied ravine land where old fill and the gully head move in the rains; on such a plot the pedestals are cut back to undisturbed loam, never seated on fill, and the approach is drained away from the gully. Winter fog along the Chambal is dense from December to January and soaks every open fitting, so the junction box is closed, the cable glands are sealed and the indicator sits in a dry cabin; May and June pass 46 °C, so the cabin is shaded, the cables leave the plate in closed conduit and the test-weight calibration is done early in the morning. Book Legal Metrology stamping or the annual re-verification in January, so the certificate is in hand before the first sarson trolley.
