Bharatpur weighbridges for mustard mandis, oil mills and stone yards.
Bharatpur, the eastern gateway of Rajasthan on the Agra–Jaipur highway, sits in the heart of the mustard belt. Its Krishi Upaj Mandi trades mustard, wheat, bajra and gram, and the kachhi ghani oil mills in and around the city take the sarson lots from the mandi through the spring months; the Directorate of Rapeseed-Mustard Research at Sewar shows how central the crop is here. To the south, the sandstone quarries and dressing yards around Bayana, Rupbas and Bansi Paharpur cut the pink and red stone used in temples and public buildings across the country, and the RIICO industrial area at Bharatpur holds engineering, oil and agro units. The Keoladeo National Park lies at the edge of the city. Symphony supplies weighbridges, truck scales and dharam kanta (धर्म कांटा / tol kanta) across Bharatpur district.
A Bharatpur mustard trader or oil mill usually needs a 40–60 MT, 12–16 m pit-less steel weighbridge stamped for trade; a sandstone quarry or dressing yard 80–100 MT on 16–18 m in concrete (RCC) for slab trailers; a RIICO unit 60 MT on 18 m; a public weighbridge 60–100 MT on 16–18 m (dharam kanta). Symphony builds it in Ahmedabad and dispatches it about 2 weeks after a commercially cleared order with PO.
Mustard by the trolley, sandstone by the slab: one stamped slip for both trades.
- Sarson by lotSeed in, oil and khal out, on one SMFW record.
- Slabs on trailers80–100 MT RCC for point loads.
- Sandy loamCompacted base, raised approach.
Who needs one in Bharatpur: Mustard, wheat, bajra and gram traders and commission agents at the Bharatpur, Bayana, Nadbai, Bhusawar and Weir mandis; kachhi ghani mustard oil mills and expellers; sandstone quarries, dressing yards and stone traders around Bayana, Rupbas and Bansi Paharpur; engineering, oil and agro units at the RIICO industrial area, Bharatpur; flour mills, dairies and cattle-feed units; building-material suppliers and transporters on the Agra–Jaipur highway; public dharam kanta operators.
Also called a dharam kanta (धर्म कांटा), truck scale or weigh bridge. We also serve Bayana, Rupbas, Weir, Bhusawar, Nadbai, Uchchain, Sewar, Rudawal, Bansi Paharpur.

Mustard traders and kachhi ghani oil mills
From March the mandi buys sarson on weight and oil content, and a kachhi ghani mill then has to account for every quintal of seed in against the oil and khal that leave, so one wrong tare shows up in the margin at the month's end.
Our setup: A 40–60 MT pit-less steel weighbridge on 12–16 m, stamped; SMFW keeps seed, oil and khal as separate reports and stores the tares of the mill's own trucks and tankers.
Sandstone quarries and dressing yards
Dressed slabs and blocks leave the yards on trailers that are checked on tonnage for royalty and freight and run close to their full gross weight, and the point load of a stacked slab can mark a thin platform.
Our setup: An 80–100 MT, 16–18 m concrete (RCC) weighbridge, stamped, with a 25-year structural warranty and slips that show gross, tare and net.
RIICO units and transporters on the Agra–Jaipur highway
Components, oil and agro goods leave on trailers against invoices, and an overloaded axle costs a fine at the next check post.
Our setup: A 60 MT, 18 m pit-less steel or RCC weighbridge with the unmanned option (RFID, cameras, boom barrier) and SMFW reports by party and shift.

Sandy loam, slab trailers and the sarson season: sizing a Bharatpur weighbridge.
Mustard sets the calendar in Bharatpur. The sarson harvest reaches the Bharatpur, Nadbai, Bhusawar and Weir mandis from March, mostly in tractor-trolleys, and the lots the kachhi ghani mills buy leave the yard the same day in 10-wheel trucks, so the trader and the mill each want a stamped slip they can both hold: a 40–60 MT, 12–16 m platform with the party, lot and vehicle number on every SMFW print. Inside the mill the same weighbridge sees seed coming in and oil tankers and khal trucks going out, which is why stored tares for the mill's own vehicles and separate SMFW reports for seed, oil and khal matter more here than at the mandi. Wheat follows in April and bajra in October, in the same trolleys. The stone trade is a different load altogether: at Bayana, Rupbas and Bansi Paharpur, dressed slabs and blocks leave the yards on trailers and 12-wheel trucks, and a few blocks can bring a vehicle close to its full gross weight, so a quarry or dressing yard needs an 80–100 MT, 16–18 m concrete (RCC) weighbridge that takes the point loads of a slab trailer and carries a 25-year structural warranty. Around Bharatpur the ground is alluvial sandy loam, so the pedestals sit on a compacted base and the approaches are built up firm; in the quarry belt around Bayana and Rupbas the rock is close to the surface and the pedestal pits may have to be cut into it. Summers are very hot and dusty and the monsoon can leave low ground waterlogged, so keep the approach raised, use IP67/IP68 load cells and shade the indicator cabin. Book stamping and re-verification in February, before the first sarson reaches the mandi.

From the Bharatpur mandi to the Bayana quarry road: six steps in Bharatpur.
Six steps for your project in Bharatpur. Most of the waiting is the foundation curing, so the drawing comes first.
- 1 · Your traffic in BharatpurTell us the heaviest vehicle you weigh (here, typically trolleys, 10-wheel trucks, tankers), the space at the gate and the daily count. An engineer replies within one working day.
- 2 · Size and quotationOur usual starting point (mustard trader or oil mill): 40–60 MT, 12–16 m weighbridge, Pit-less steel, stamped. The quotation comes with the foundation drawing.
- 3 · Foundation on siteYour civil contractor builds the concrete pedestals to our drawing; we can check the levels before the weighbridge arrives.
- 4 · Fabrication and dispatchBuilt and tested in our Ahmedabad workshop; dispatch in about 2 weeks from a commercially cleared order with PO, then delivered and placed on your foundation.
- 5 · Installation and calibrationWeighbridge placed, load cells and indicator connected and calibrated, SMFW stored tares set up (RFID, cameras and boom barrier where ordered), and Legal Metrology verification supported.
- 6 · AMC and serviceAMC, breakdown visits, calibration and annual re-verification support from our technical desk, so the weighbridge stays accurate for years.
