Oil mills weigh seed in and oil and cake out, so stored tares for the regular tankers and trucks save time at the gate. The kharif onion crop comes to the mandi from October in trolleys and pick-ups, and a 30–40 MT, 9–12 m weighbridge is enough for a vegetable trader. The ground near the Aravalli can be firm and rocky, so a pedestal foundation may need levelling or rock cutting, while the plains to the east have sandy loam that needs a well-compacted base and firm approaches. Summers are very hot and winters cold, so shade the indicator cabin, keep cables in closed conduits away from the hot plate, and calibrate with test weights at installation. At MIA, finished vehicles, components and bottled goods leave on long trailers, so 60 MT on 18 m suits a factory gate, and the unmanned option (RFID, cameras, boom barrier) records every truck without a second clerk. Plan stamping and re-verification before the March mustard season.
