Deeg weighbridges for mustard mandis, oil mills and stone crushers.
Deeg, in the mustard country of eastern Rajasthan between the Braj plain and the Mewat hills, is a district of market yards, oil presses and stone crushers. The Krishi Upaj Mandis at Deeg, Kumher, Nagar and Kaman are busy mustard markets every spring; kacchi-ghani oil mills and expellers buy seed by the trolley and sell oil by the tanker; the stone crushers and grit yards of the Pahari belt load tippers for builders on both sides of the Haryana border; the industrial area at Deeg holds small processing and engineering units; and the Braj villages send milk, ghee and cattle feed out every day. Symphony supplies weighbridges, truck scales and dharam kanta (धर्म कांटा / tol kanta) across Deeg district.
A mustard trader or kacchi-ghani oil mill in Deeg, Kumher or Nagar usually needs a 40–60 MT, 12–16 m pit-less steel weighbridge stamped for trade, long enough for a tractor with a loaded seed trolley; a stone crusher or grit yard in the Pahari belt 60–80 MT on 16–18 m, or 80–100 MT in concrete (RCC) for the heaviest tippers; a unit in the Deeg industrial area or a warehouse 40–60 MT on 12–16 m; a dairy or ghee plant 30–40 MT on 9–12 m; a public weighbridge on the Mathura–Alwar road 60–100 MT on 16–18 m (dharam kanta). Symphony builds it in Ahmedabad and dispatches it about 2 weeks after a commercially cleared order with PO.
Sarson trolleys in spring, grit tippers all year: one stamped weight for every Deeg trade.
- Seed in, oil and khal outOne mill gate, three SMFW reports, one stamped weight.
- Wet plain, rocky hillsRaised plinth and drained apron at Deeg; pedestals on rock at Pahari.
- Crusher grit all daySealed IP67/IP68 load cells, a clean gap, unmanned option.
Who needs one in Deeg: Mustard, wheat, bajra and gram traders and commission agents at the Deeg, Kumher, Nagar and Kaman mandis; kacchi-ghani mustard-oil mills, expellers, refiners and oil-cake (khal) traders; stone crushers and grit and sand suppliers of the Pahari and Kaman belt; brick kilns; the industrial area at Deeg; dairy chilling centres, ghee makers and cattle-feed units of the Braj villages; warehouses and cold storages for seed and grain; transporters on the Mathura–Alwar and Bharatpur–Gurugram roads; public dharam kanta operators.
Also called a dharam kanta (धर्म कांटा), truck scale or weigh bridge. We also serve Kumher, Nagar, Kaman, Pahari, Sikri, Jurhara, Janoothar, Rarah.

Kacchi-ghani mustard-oil mills
Seed is bought by the trolley from March, oil is sold by the tanker and tin all year, khal goes to the feed trade by the bag, and the crushing yield between the three is the mill's margin; a heaped trolley hanging off a short platform makes every number wrong.
Our setup: A 40–60 MT, 12–16 m pit-less steel weighbridge, stamped, with SMFW reports that keep seed-in by grower and lot, oil-out by tanker and buyer, and khal-out by party.
Stone crushers of the Pahari belt
Crushed stone and grit leave at the legal limit on tippers and trailers from dawn to late night, the buyer at the building site weighs again, and grit and fines settle on everything in the yard.
Our setup: A 60–80 MT, 16–18 m pit-less steel or 80–100 MT concrete (RCC) weighbridge with sealed IP67/IP68 load cells, a clear gap kept clean every shift, the unmanned option (RFID, cameras, boom barrier) and reports by material and shift.
Dairy chilling centres and ghee makers
Milk comes in twice a day from the Braj villages in cans and small tankers, ghee and feed go out on pick-ups and small trucks, and the plant pays the society by weight rather than by the can.
Our setup: A 30–40 MT, 9–12 m pit-less weighbridge at the chilling centre, stamped, with slips that carry the society, the route and the vehicle number.

Heaped seed trolleys, wet low ground and crusher dust: sizing a Deeg weighbridge.
A Deeg weighbridge is built around the mustard season. From March to May the sarson comes to the Deeg, Kumher, Nagar and Kaman mandis in tractor-trolleys heaped under tarpaulin and in 10-wheel trucks of bags, the commission agent settles with the grower on the mandi weight, and the oil mill pays the agent on the weight at its own gate, so both platforms must be stamped for trade and print a slip the other side accepts: a 40–60 MT, 12–16 m pit-less steel weighbridge takes a tractor and its trolley in one weighing. Inside a kacchi-ghani mill the loads change shape: seed in by the trolley, oil out in tankers and tins, khal out in bags for the cattle-feed trade, and SMFW keeps seed-in, oil-out and cake-out as separate reports so the crushing yield can be checked lot by lot. The mandi platform is busy from Holi to the first rains and quiet in the monsoon, so book stamping or the annual re-verification in February so the certificate is in hand before the first trolleys. The ground differs across the district: the low alluvial plain around Deeg and Kumher holds water after a wet August, so a pit-less weighbridge on a raised plinth with a drained apron is the safer choice there and a pit-type weighbridge is installed only with a sump and pump-out, while the Pahari and Kaman belt sits on the rocky Aravalli outliers, where the pedestals can bear on rock and the problem is dust rather than water. At a stone crusher the tippers leave at the legal limit all day, grit and fines settle on every surface, and a few hundred kilos lost on each load is the whole margin, so the crusher gate takes a 60–80 MT, 16–18 m pit-less steel weighbridge, or an 80–100 MT concrete (RCC) weighbridge for a grit yard that loads multi-axle trailers, with sealed IP67/IP68 load cells, a clear gap around the platform that is cleaned every shift and the unmanned option (RFID, cameras, boom barrier) for a yard that loads through the night. The dairy side is lighter: milk tankers, feed trucks and ghee consignments on pick-ups and small trucks, which a 30–40 MT, 9–12 m weighbridge at the chilling centre or feed unit covers with slips by vehicle and route. May and June in Deeg pass 45 °C, so the indicator cabin is shaded and ventilated, the cables run in closed conduit off the plate, and the first calibration with test weights is done early in the morning before the steel heats up.

From the Kumher mandi gate to the Pahari crusher yard: six steps in Deeg.
Six steps for your project in Deeg. Most of the waiting is the foundation curing, so the drawing comes first.
- 1 · Your traffic in DeegTell us the heaviest vehicle you weigh (here, typically tractor-trolleys of sarson, 10-wheel trucks), the space at the gate and the daily count. An engineer replies within one working day.
- 2 · Size and quotationOur usual starting point (mustard mandi trader, Deeg, Kumher or Nagar): 40–60 MT, 12–16 m weighbridge, Pit-less steel, stamped. The quotation comes with the foundation drawing.
- 3 · Foundation on siteYour civil contractor builds it to our drawing; a pit-type weighbridge needs a drained pit with a sump. We can check the levels before the weighbridge arrives.
- 4 · Fabrication and dispatchBuilt and tested in our Ahmedabad workshop; dispatch in about 2 weeks from a commercially cleared order with PO, then delivered and placed on your foundation.
- 5 · Installation and calibrationWeighbridge placed, load cells and indicator connected and calibrated, SMFW stored tares set up (RFID, cameras and boom barrier where ordered), and Legal Metrology verification supported.
- 6 · AMC and serviceAMC, breakdown visits, calibration and annual re-verification support from our technical desk, so the weighbridge stays accurate for years.
