Khairthal-Tijara weighbridges for mandi traders, onion sheds and factory gates.
Khairthal-Tijara, the district carved out of Alwar in 2023 with its headquarters at Khairthal, is sarson and onion country on the sandy plains below the Aravalli ridges of north-eastern Rajasthan. Khairthal's Krishi Upaj Mandi is one of the region's big mustard markets, the fields around Kishangarh Bas, Harsoli and Kotkasim grow the red kharif onion that the trade sells as Alwar onion, and wheat and bajra follow in their seasons. On the district's northern edge the RIICO estates at Tapukara, Khushkhera, Chopanki and Kahrani hold automobile, auto-component, steel, ceramic and packaging plants, while stone crushers and grit suppliers work the Aravalli edge towards Tijara and the plains carry brick kilns. Symphony supplies weighbridges, truck scales and dharam kanta (धर्म कांटा / tol kanta) across Khairthal-Tijara district.
A Khairthal mandi trader or kachhi ghani oil mill usually needs a 40–60 MT, 12–16 m pit-less steel weighbridge stamped for trade; an onion trader or cold store 30–40 MT on 9–12 m; an auto-component or steel unit at Tapukara or Khushkhera 60–80 MT on 18 m, often pit-type at a tight gate; a stone crusher or brick kiln 80 MT on 12–16 m in concrete (RCC); a public weighbridge 60–100 MT on 16–18 m (dharam kanta). Symphony builds it in Ahmedabad and dispatches it about 2 weeks after a commercially cleared order with PO.
Sarson by the lot, onion by the trolley, coils by the trailer: one stamped weight for each.
- Sarson in March, onion from OctoberTwo seasons, two vehicle sizes, one SMFW record.
- Sandy loam or Aravalli rockCompacted base on the plains, rock-cut pits towards Tijara.
- Tight factory gatesPit-type, flush with the road, unmanned option.
Who needs one in Khairthal-Tijara: Mustard, wheat, bajra, gram and onion traders and commission agents at the Khairthal, Kishangarh Bas and Tijara mandis; kachhi ghani oil mills and expellers; onion traders, graders and cold stores; automobile, auto-component, steel, ceramic, pharmaceutical and packaging units at the RIICO estates of Tapukara, Khushkhera, Chopanki and Kahrani; stone crushers on the Aravalli edge towards Tijara and brick kilns on the plains; flour mills and cattle-feed units; building-material suppliers and transporters on the Alwar–Delhi road; public dharam kanta operators. Trolleys from the Haryana side cross at Kotkasim and Tapukara, so a public weighbridge on the Alwar–Delhi road weighs both states' vehicles; keep 18 m for the multi-axle trucks.
Also called a dharam kanta (धर्म कांटा), truck scale or weigh bridge. We also serve Khairthal, Kishangarh Bas, Tijara, Kotkasim, Mundawar, Harsoli, Tapukara, Khushkhera.

Mandi commission agents and kachhi ghani mills
Sarson is paid for on net weight and oil content, and the trolley that was weighed at the mandi is weighed again at the mill gate; a difference between the two slips is argued over in the agent's office, not in the field.
Our setup: A 40–60 MT, 12–16 m pit-less steel weighbridge, stamped, with SMFW slips that carry the party, lot and vehicle number and stored tares for the regular trucks.
Onion graders and cold stores
The kharif onion is bought from the field in trolleys and pick-ups through October and November, graded, bagged and sent out by the truckload, and a trader who weighs only on the way out never knows the grading loss.
Our setup: A 30–40 MT, 9–12 m pit-less weighbridge at the grading shed for the inward trolleys and pick-ups, with a 16 m platform where the trader also loads 10-wheel trucks.
Auto-component and steel units at Tapukara and Khushkhera
Coils, castings and components come in on 40-foot trailers against weight on the invoice, scrap and offcuts go out by weight, and the gate runs three shifts.
Our setup: A 60–80 MT, 18 m pit-type or pit-less steel weighbridge with the unmanned option (RFID, cameras, boom barrier) and SMFW reports by party, material and shift.

Sandy loam, two harvests and tight factory gates: sizing a Khairthal-Tijara weighbridge.
Khairthal's weighbridges work two seasons that look nothing alike. From March the sarson comes to the Khairthal and Kishangarh Bas mandis in tractor-trolleys, is bought by the lot on weight and oil content, and leaves for the kachhi ghani mills in 10-wheel trucks, so a commission agent wants a 40–60 MT, 12–16 m platform that takes a loaded trolley in one weighing and an SMFW slip with the party, lot and vehicle number that both sides keep. From October the kharif onion arrives in trolleys and pick-ups, is graded and bagged, and goes out to the Delhi and Jaipur markets by the truckload, and here the same trader is often better served by a second, smaller 30–40 MT, 9–12 m weighbridge at the grading shed so the pick-ups do not queue behind the trucks. The ground across the plains is alluvial sandy loam: pedestals go on a compacted base, the approaches are built up firm so trolley wheels do not sink after rain, and a raised plinth keeps the monsoon flow away from the load cells. Towards Tijara and Kishangarh Bas the Aravalli rock comes close to the surface, and a pedestal pit may have to be cut into it. At the Tapukara and Khushkhera estates the loads are different again: steel coils and components arrive on 40-foot trailers, finished vehicles and parts leave to fixed schedules through the night, and the gate is often too tight for ramps, so a pit-type weighbridge of 60–80 MT on 18 m, flush with the road, with the unmanned option (RFID, cameras, boom barrier), lets every truck weigh without a second clerk. Stone crushers on the Aravalli edge towards Tijara and brick kilns on the plains load tippers and tractor-trolleys that run wet and heavy, and an 80 MT concrete (RCC) weighbridge on 12–16 m, with sealed IP67/IP68 load cells and a 25-year structural warranty, stands up to that traffic. Khairthal sees 45 °C in June and frost in January, so the cabin gets a shaded, ventilated spot, the cables run in closed conduit off the hot plate, and the junction box is sealed before the first test-weight calibration. Get the stamping or the annual re-verification done in February, so the certificate is already in hand when the first sarson trolleys reach Khairthal in March and the onion trader's second platform is checked in the same visit.
