Kadi weighbridges for gins, oil mills and castor traders.
Kadi in Mehsana district is a cotton town. Ginning and pressing factories along the Kadi–Thol road and around the town turn kapas into bales, oil mills crush the cottonseed into oil and cake, and the Kadi APMC trades castor and other crops. From the farmer's kapas to the last truck of cake, every step is paid by weight. Symphony supplies weighbridges, truck scales and dharam kanta (धर्म कांटा) across Kadi taluka.
A Kadi ginning and pressing factory needs a 60 MT, 16–18 m pit-less weighbridge (dharam kanta) for kapas trucks and bale trucks; a cottonseed oil and cake mill 40–60 MT on 16 m; a castor trader at the APMC 40 MT on 12–16 m. Symphony builds the truck scale in Ahmedabad, with stamping support.
From kapas to cake, every step is paid by weight.
- Ready before the first kapasOrder before the season: dispatch about 2 weeks from a commercially cleared order with PO.
- Lint kept out of the readingsSealed IP67/IP68 load cells and a covered junction box for the dust of a working gin.
- One record from kapas to cakeSMFW slips and reports by party for every truck in and out of the mill.
Who needs one in Kadi: Cotton ginning and pressing along the Kadi–Thol road, cottonseed oil and cake mills, castor and other crop trading at the Kadi APMC, edible-oil units along the Kadi–Kalol road, transporters carrying bales and cake, and farming in Kadi taluka.
Also called a dharam kanta (धर्म कांटा), truck scale or weigh bridge. We also serve Thol, Nandasan, Budasan.

Ginning and pressing factories
In season the gin buys kapas from many farmers a day, each paid on the net weight, and the pressed bales leave in full trucks for spinning mills.
Our setup: A 60 MT, 16–18 m pit-less weighbridge with slips that carry the farmer's name, plus stored tares so the outgoing bale trucks are weighed once on the way out.
Cottonseed oil and cake mills
Seed is bought from the gins by weight, and both the oil and the cake are sold by weight, so the mill's yield is only as good as its weighing.
Our setup: A 40–60 MT, 16 m weighbridge, pit-less steel or concrete (RCC), with a drain and wash point for oily spills and SMFW reports by party.
Castor and crop traders at the APMC
Castor and other crops come in by tractor-trolley and leave by truck for crushers and buyers.
Our setup: A 40 MT, 12–16 m pit-less weighbridge sized to the tractor-trolley and the 2–3 axle truck, with an SMFW slip for every load.

Lint, oil and the season rush: plan the weighbridge for all three.
In Kadi the weighbridge works hardest from the start of the cotton season. Loose kapas overhangs the sides and rear of tractors and trucks, so measure the longest loaded vehicle, not the chassis: usually 16–18 m, with straight, level approaches. A gin buying from many farmers a day also gains from stored tares for regular trucks, or the gate queue grows by the hour. Lint packed into the gap between the platform and the approach can bridge it and take load off the load cells, so the reading drops. Keep that gap clear, use sealed IP67/IP68 load cells and a covered junction box, and sweep the gaps daily in season. Oil and cake mills add a second problem, oily spills on the platform and the approaches, so keep a drain and a wash point beside the weighbridge. Most of the taluka is flat, but low ground can hold monsoon water: raise the pedestals and drain the surround. Dispatch is about 2 weeks from a commercially cleared order with PO; add time for the foundation, installation and Legal Metrology verification, and finish all of it before the gin starts buying.

From the gin layout to the first kapas slip.
Six steps for your project in Kadi. Most of the waiting is the foundation curing, so the drawing comes first.
- 1 · Your traffic in KadiTell us the heaviest vehicle you weigh (here, typically kapas trucks and tractors in, bale trucks out), the space at the gate and the daily count. An engineer replies within one working day.
- 2 · Size and quotationOur usual starting point (ginning and pressing factory): 60 MT, 16–18 m weighbridge, Pit-less steel. The quotation comes with the foundation drawing.
- 3 · Foundation on siteYour civil contractor builds the concrete pedestals to our drawing; we can check the levels before the weighbridge arrives.
- 4 · Fabrication and dispatchBuilt and tested in our Ahmedabad workshop; dispatch in about 2 weeks from a commercially cleared order with PO, then delivered and placed on your foundation.
- 5 · Installation and calibrationWeighbridge placed, load cells and indicator connected and calibrated, slip printing set up, and Legal Metrology verification supported.
- 6 · AMC and serviceAMC, breakdown visits, calibration and annual re-verification support from our technical desk, so the weighbridge stays accurate for years.
