Mandal–Becharaji weighbridges for coils, scrap and supplier gates.
The Mandal–Becharaji Special Investment Region, spread across Ahmedabad and Mehsana districts, is one of Gujarat's car and two-wheeler belts: large vehicle plants at Hansalpur and Vithalapur, and around them the press shops, component makers, logistics yards and warehouses that supply them. Here a weighbridge counts the steel that comes in, the scrap that goes out and every truck that crosses a supplier's gate. Symphony supplies weighbridges and truck scales across Becharaji, Mandal, Hansalpur and Vithalapur.
For an auto-component supplier in the Mandal–Becharaji SIR, a 60–80 MT weighbridge (dharam kanta) with an 18 m deck weighs steel-coil trailers in and press-shop scrap out, with SMFW slips that carry the invoice number; logistics yards need 18 m with stored tares and the unmanned option. Symphony builds it in Ahmedabad.
Steel bought, scrap sold: one deck weighs both.
- Steel in, scrap out, one recordCoils in and scrap out on the same stamped deck, so steel, parts and scrap can be reconciled.
- Gates that run every shiftThe unmanned option (RFID, cameras, boom barrier) records each truck when no operator is at the gate.
- Records ready for auditSMFW keeps numbered slips with the vehicle, party and invoice details of every weighment.

Press shops, yards and recyclers.
Press shops and component makers
Steel comes in by the coil and leaves as parts and scrap; if the weights do not reconcile, the loss hides in the scrap bin.
Our setup: A 60–80 MT, 18 m deck with SMFW slips that carry the invoice number, weighing coils in and scrap out on the same stamped deck.
Logistics yards and warehouses
Trailers queue at shift change, and each one must leave with a slip its customer will accept.
Our setup: An 18 m concrete (RCC) deck with stored tares and the unmanned option (RFID, cameras, boom barrier), so a trailer is weighed in one pass.
Scrap dealers and recyclers
Scrap is bought from many suppliers in different grades, and every rupee rides on the net weight.
Our setup: A 40–60 MT, 12–16 m concrete (RCC) deck with sealed IP67/IP68 load cells and a slip for every lot.

Coils in, scrap out, every shift: plan the gate, not just the deck.
Auto supply chains are audited by the customer, so a supplier's weighbridge has to give a figure that the customer, the steel supplier and the scrap buyer all accept. Steel arrives as coils and sheets on long multi-axle trailers, so size the deck for the longest trailer, usually 18 m, and keep the approaches straight and level. Press-shop scrap leaves in tippers and is sold on weight: weigh every scrap truck in and out on the same stamped deck, so the scrap figure can be checked against the steel bought and the parts shipped. Plants run two or three shifts, and the unmanned option (RFID, cameras, boom barrier) lets trucks be weighed and recorded when no operator is at the gate, while SMFW keeps every record for the next audit. The ground across the region is flat farmland; a soil check before the foundation and a drain around it keep the deck level through the monsoon. New plots can choose a concrete (RCC) deck, whose RCC concrete carries a 25-year structural warranty (T&C apply).
