Una weighbridges for yards, coconut and the harbour.
Una is the market town of eastern Gir Somnath, between the Gir forest and the sea. Groundnut, cotton, wheat and other produce come into its marketing yard; coconut groves line the coast; Kesar mango orchards around Una and Gir Gadhada send fruit to market every summer; and fishing boats land their catch at Navabandar and Saiyad Rajpara. Symphony supplies weighbridges, truck scales and dharam kanta (धर्म कांटा) across Una and Gir Gadhada talukas.
A marketing-yard trader or public weighbridge (dharam kanta) in Una usually needs 40–60 MT on 12–16 m; a coconut trader loading pick-ups and trucks 30–40 MT on 9–12 m; a fish trader or ice plant at Navabandar or Saiyad Rajpara 30–40 MT on a concrete (RCC) weighbridge with a drained surround. Symphony builds it in Ahmedabad and dispatches it about 2 weeks after a cleared order with PO.

Marketing-yard traders and public kantas
Many sellers bring small lots in the same morning, and each wants a slip of their own.
Our setup: A 40–60 MT, 12–16 m pit-less weighbridge with a large display, and SMFW slips printed for the seller and the buyer.
Coconut traders
Coconut is bought from the grove by count but sold onward by the truckload.
Our setup: A 30–40 MT, 9–12 m weighbridge, so every load leaves with a weight both the grove owner and the onward buyer can check.
Fish traders and ice plants
Melt water and salt reach the weighbridge from every truck.
Our setup: A 30–40 MT, 9–12 m concrete (RCC) weighbridge laid to a fall with a drain, with sealed IP67/IP68 load cells.

Season peaks, melt water and salt air: a weighbridge sized for Una's trades.
Una's trade follows the season. Groundnut and cotton reach the marketing yard from October in tractor-trolleys and trucks, many sellers with small lots, so the weighbridge should print a clear SMFW slip with the vehicle number, gross, tare, date and time that both the seller and the buyer can keep. Coconut is often bought from the grove by count but sold onward by the truckload, and a weighbridge slip gives both parties a check of what each load carries. Kesar mango moves for a few weeks in May and June in pick-ups and tempos; for a packer who needs a kanta only in that season, a modular weighbridge needs no foundation and installs within hours on a hard, level surface such as concrete, for example a packing-house yard or concrete apron. At the harbours, melt water from ice and fish boxes runs off every truck, and salt air reaches every steel surface: for Navabandar and Saiyad Rajpara, slope the concrete (RCC) weighbridge and its surround towards a drain at one end, use sealed IP67/IP68 load cells, and mount the junction box on a post clear of the wash water. Whatever the trade, complete Legal Metrology verification before trade use and re-verify every year; Symphony gives stamping support. In the monsoon, keep water away from the pedestals and clear the gaps around the weighbridge.
