Wardha weighbridges for cotton gins, APMC yards and container gates.
Wardha, on the black-soil plain between the Wardha and Wunna rivers in eastern Vidarbha, is cotton country. Hinganghat's market yard is one of Vidarbha's large cotton markets, ringed by ginning and pressing factories and spinning mills; the APMCs at Wardha, Arvi, Pulgaon, Deoli, Sindi and Samudrapur trade kapas, soybean, tur and chana; the MIDC estates at Wardha and Hinganghat hold cotton-seed oil mills, dal mills, steel and engineering units; the dry port at Sindi (Railway) moves containers to and from the western ports; and the orchards of Arvi, Karanja and Ashti send oranges out by the truckload. Symphony supplies weighbridges, truck scales and dharam kanta (धर्म कांटा / tol kanta) across Wardha district.
A cotton ginning and pressing factory in Hinganghat or Wardha usually needs a 40–60 MT, 12–16 m pit-less steel weighbridge stamped for trade, long enough for a tractor with a loaded kapas trolley; an APMC trader, dal mill or cotton-seed oil mill 40–60 MT on 12–16 m; the container yards at the Sindi dry port and the MIDC steel and engineering units 60–80 MT on 18 m with the unmanned option (RFID, cameras, boom barrier); a pig-iron or steel plant gate 80–100 MT on 18 m in concrete (RCC); a public weighbridge on the highway 60–100 MT on 16–18 m (dharam kanta). Symphony builds it in Ahmedabad and dispatches it about 2 weeks after a commercially cleared order with PO.

Ginners, traders, dry-port yards and orange packers across Wardha district.
Cotton ginners and pressers
The grower is paid on the kapas that came in and the mill pays for the bales that went out, and the gap between the two is the ginner's whole season; a heaped trolley that hangs off the end of a short platform makes both numbers wrong.
Our setup: A 40–60 MT, 12–16 m pit-less steel weighbridge, stamped, with SMFW reports that keep kapas-in by grower and lot and bales-out by buyer and press number.
Container yards and warehouses at Sindi
Every export container needs a declared verified gross mass before it ships, the trailer's tare changes with the chassis, and the yard works through the night to make the rake.
Our setup: A 60–80 MT, 18 m pit-less steel weighbridge with the unmanned option (RFID, cameras, boom barrier), stored tares for the regular trailers and SMFW reports by container and shift.
Orange packers of Arvi and Karanja
The fruit comes off the orchard in crates on pick-ups twice a year, the trader pays the grower by weight at the shed, and the crates go out to the markets in small trucks that are never full to the axle.
Our setup: A 30–40 MT, 9–12 m pit-less weighbridge at the packing shed, stamped, with slips that carry the grower, the bahar and the vehicle number.

Regur soil, the kapas season and 40-foot trailers: sizing a Wardha weighbridge.
A Wardha weighbridge is built around kapas. From October to March the raw cotton comes to the Hinganghat, Wardha, Deoli and Pulgaon gins in tractor-trolleys and trucks that are piled high but weigh little, because loose kapas is bulky, so the platform needs length more than capacity: a 40–60 MT, 12–16 m pit-less steel weighbridge takes a tractor and its heaped trolley in one weighing, and the ginner pays the grower on that net. What leaves the gin is a different load altogether: pressed bales of around 170 kg stacked on 10-wheel trucks, cotton seed in bulk for the oil mills and lint samples for the spinning mills, and SMFW keeps kapas-in and bales-out as separate reports so the ginning outturn can be checked lot by lot. Soybean arrives at the APMCs in October and November, tur in January and February and chana from March, so a commission agent's platform is busy from Dussehra to Holi and idle in the rains; book stamping or the annual re-verification in September so the certificate is in hand before the first trolleys. The ground is the problem Vidarbha is known for: deep black cotton soil (regur) that swells in the monsoon and cracks in May, so the pedestals are taken down to firm murum or rock, the apron is cast wide, and the plinth sits above the level the Wardha and Wunna rivers reach in a wet August. At the Sindi (Railway) dry port and in the MIDC estates the loads are 40-foot container trailers and coil trucks, so the platform goes to 18 m and the unmanned option (RFID, cameras, boom barrier) lets the yard weigh through the night without a clerk, with stored tares for the regular trailers. A pig-iron or steel plant weighs ore, coke and scrap in and metal and slag out on tippers and trailers at the legal limit, which calls for an 80–100 MT concrete (RCC) weighbridge on 18 m with sealed IP67/IP68 load cells and a 25-year structural warranty. The orange growers of Arvi, Karanja and Ashti send the ambia crop out from November and the mrig crop from February in crates on pick-ups and small trucks, and a 30–40 MT, 9–12 m weighbridge at the packing shed is enough for them. May in Wardha passes 45 °C, so the indicator cabin is shaded and ventilated, the cables run in closed conduit off the plate, and the first calibration with test weights is done early in the morning before the steel heats up.
