Black dust and heavy rain: drain it, seal it, wash it.
Two things decide a weighbridge in the Nagpur belt: coal dust and the monsoon. Coal dust is fine, black and gritty; it drifts into the gap between the weighbridge and the pit wall or approach, packs hard, and starts to carry part of the load, so the reading drifts low. Keep that gap open, clean it on a schedule, and prefer a concrete (RCC) weighbridge in a coal or ash yard because it can be washed down.
