Damoh weighbridges for gram mandis, cement yards and stone crushers.
Damoh, in the Bundelkhand country of Madhya Pradesh's Sagar division, lives on gram, wheat and stone. The district's Krishi Upaj Mandis at Damoh, Hatta, Hindoria and Patharia trade chana, wheat, masoor, soybean, urad and tur from the black soil of the Sonar and Bearma valleys, and dal and flour mills work the crop through the year. The cement works and its limestone mines at Narsinghgarh send cement out by truck and by rail, stone crushers and sandstone quarries work the Vindhyan plateau, and the tendu-leaf and beedi trade is part of the town's life. Pilgrims come to Bandakpur, Kundalpur and Jatashankar. Symphony supplies weighbridges, truck scales and dharam kanta (धर्म कांटा / tol kanta) across Damoh district.
A Damoh gram or wheat trader or dal mill usually needs a 40–60 MT, 12–16 m pit-less steel weighbridge stamped for trade; a cement transporter, dealer depot or fly-ash yard 80–100 MT on 18 m for bulkers and trailers; a stone crusher, sandstone quarry or sand supplier 80 MT on 12–16 m in concrete (RCC); a public weighbridge on the Sagar–Jabalpur highway 60–100 MT on 16–18 m (dharam kanta). Symphony builds it in Ahmedabad and dispatches it about 2 weeks after a commercially cleared order with PO.
Chana, cement and stone all pay by the tonne in Damoh: a stamped weight for each gate.
- Chana in March, soybean in OctoberOne stamped slip per lot, with the seller and vehicle on it.
- Cement bulkers at the limit80–100 MT on 18 m, sealed cells, unmanned option.
- Black valley soil or Vindhyan stonePedestals to firm murum in the valleys, rock-cut pits on the plateau.

Gram traders and dal mills
Damoh chana is sold by the lot from March, and a dal mill's margin is the difference between the chana that came in and the dal and chuni that went out, so both gates need a stamped weight.
Our setup: A 40–60 MT, 16 m pit-less steel weighbridge, stamped, with SMFW slips that carry the seller and lot and separate reports for chana in and dal and chuni out.
Cement transporters and dealer depots
Bulkers and trailers leave loaded close to the legal limit, cement dust settles on everything in the yard, and an overloaded axle is fined at the Sagar-road check post and the transporter, not the dealer, pays it.
Our setup: An 80–100 MT, 18 m concrete (RCC) or pit-less steel weighbridge with sealed IP67/IP68 load cells, a closed indicator cabin and the unmanned option for night loading.
Stone crushers and sand suppliers
Tippers come off the quarry floor or the river lease wet and heavy, every trip is billed by the tonne against a royalty pass, and the approaches take a beating.
Our setup: An 80 MT, 12–16 m concrete (RCC) weighbridge, stamped, with a 25-year structural warranty on the RCC and slips that carry the vehicle number and the pass.

Black valley soil, Vindhyan stone and the chana season: sizing a Damoh weighbridge.
Damoh's mandis fill twice a year. From March the rabi chana, wheat and masoor come in from the black soil of the Sonar and Bearma valleys in tractor-trolleys, and from October the soybean, urad and tur; both crops are sold by the lot on weight, so a trader or dal mill wants a 40–60 MT, 12–16 m pit-less steel platform that takes a loaded trolley in one weighing and an SMFW slip that shows gross, tare and net with the seller and lot. A dal mill that also loads dal out in 10-wheel trucks should take the 16 m length and keep the inward chana and the outward dal and chuni as separate reports. Cement is the heavy traffic. Bulkers and 40-foot trailers leave the Narsinghgarh works and the dealers' godowns loaded close to the limit, and the clinker, fly ash and limestone that feed the plant move the same way, so a transporter's yard or a dealer's depot needs 80–100 MT on 18 m, in concrete (RCC) or pit-less steel, with sealed IP67/IP68 load cells because cement dust gets into everything, and the unmanned option (RFID, cameras, boom barrier) for the night loading. The crushers and sandstone quarries on the Vindhyan plateau load tippers that run wet from the quarry floor, and an 80 MT concrete (RCC) weighbridge on 12–16 m, with a 25-year structural warranty, is the right platform for that traffic; the same goes for the river-sand suppliers whose tippers drip water on every crossing. Ground conditions change from one tehsil to the next: in the valleys the black soil swells and shrinks with the monsoon, so the pedestals are taken down to firm murum or rock and the approaches are built up, while on the plateau the sandstone is close to the surface and a pedestal pit may have to be cut. Bundelkhand summers run dry and well past 40 °C, so the cabin is shaded and ventilated, the cables go in closed conduit, and the first calibration with test weights is done before the yard opens. Have stamping or the annual re-verification done in February, before the chana reaches the mandi; the certificate runs for a year, so for the kharif rush ask only for a calibration check with test weights.

From the Hatta mandi to the Narsinghgarh cement road: six steps in Damoh.
Six steps for your project in Damoh. Most of the waiting is the foundation curing, so the drawing comes first.
- 1 · Your traffic in DamohTell us the heaviest vehicle you weigh (here, typically trolleys, 10-wheel trucks), the space at the gate and the daily count. An engineer replies within one working day.
- 2 · Size and quotationOur usual starting point (gram, wheat or soybean trader, dal mill): 40–60 MT, 12–16 m weighbridge, Pit-less steel, stamped. The quotation comes with the foundation drawing.
- 3 · Foundation on siteYour civil contractor builds the concrete pedestals to our drawing; we can check the levels before the weighbridge arrives.
- 4 · Fabrication and dispatchBuilt and tested in our Ahmedabad workshop; dispatch in about 2 weeks from a commercially cleared order with PO, then delivered and placed on your foundation.
