Dwarka weighbridges for Vadinar tankers, salt and builders.
Dwarka is known across India as a pilgrimage town, but its coast also works hard: the salt and soda ash works at Mithapur, the refinery and oil terminal at Vadinar, the port and fishing harbour at Okha, and the groundnut and cotton yards inland at Khambhalia and Bhatia. Symphony supplies weighbridges, truck scales and dharam kanta (धर्म कांटा) across Dwarka, Okha, Mithapur and Khambhalia.
For a Dwarka-coast salt works, choose a 40–60 MT, 12–16 m concrete (RCC) weighbridge with a drained surround; Vadinar tanker fleets need 60–80 MT on 16–18 m with stored tares. Symphony builds it in Ahmedabad.
On a coast of salt and wind, the deck must outlast both.
- Built for brine and windConcrete (RCC) or steel-cum-RCC decks, sealed IP67/IP68 load cells and an anchored, earthed cabin for an open sea coast.
- Tanker tares on recordSMFW stores the tare of every registered tanker, so a loaded tanker is weighed once and the net prints at once.
- A kanta that can moveFor a hotel or housing project, a modular deck needs no foundation: it installs within hours on a hard, level surface such as concrete.
Who needs one in Dwarka: Salt works and soda ash production at Mithapur, petroleum products from the Vadinar refinery and oil terminal, port cargo and fish landing at Okha, groundnut and cotton trading at Khambhalia and Bhatia, and building-material supply for hotels, dharamshalas and housing in the pilgrimage town.
Also called a dharam kanta (धर्म कांटा), truck scale or weigh bridge. We also serve Okha, Mithapur, Khambhalia, Bhatia, Kalyanpur.
Salt pans, tankers and pilgrim-town builders.
Salt works and salt traders
Salt is sold by the tonne and loaded wet, so brine reaches the deck on every trip.
Our setup: A 40–60 MT, 12–16 m concrete (RCC) deck with a drained surround and sealed IP67/IP68 load cells.
Tanker transporters
Product tankers are weighed loaded and empty, and each trip is compared with the depot's figure.
Our setup: A 60 MT, 16 m deck with stored tares in SMFW and the unmanned option for round-the-clock gates.
Hotels, housing and building-material yards
Sand, aggregate and cement arrive by the tipper for a project that will finish and move on.
Our setup: A modular steel deck, no foundation required: installs within hours on a hard, level surface such as concrete.
- Mithapursalt and soda ash production
- Vadinaroil refinery and offshore oil terminal
- Okha port and fishing harbourcargo handling and fish landing
Brine, wind and storms: plan the coast deck first.
Dwarka faces the Arabian Sea, so salt air reaches every steel surface, the monsoon wind is strong and cyclone warnings are part of the calendar. Three things matter more here than inland. First, the deck: concrete (RCC) or steel-cum-RCC stands up to salt better than painted steel, and the RCC concrete carries a 25-year structural warranty (T&C apply). Second, the electronics: sealed IP67/IP68 load cells, junction boxes kept above the drain line, and an indicator cabin anchored to its base and well earthed. Third, the water: salt leaves the pans wet, so brine drips onto the deck from every tipper and trolley; slope the surround to a drain and wash the deck with fresh water at the end of the day. In festival weeks the town fills with pilgrims, so plan the delivery of the structure and the civil work for quieter days.

From the salt pan to the stamped slip.
Six steps for your project in Dwarka. Most of the waiting is the foundation curing, so the drawing comes first.
- 1 · Your traffic in DwarkaTell us the heaviest vehicle you weigh (here, typically tippers, tractor-trolleys, trucks), the space at the gate and the daily count. An engineer replies within one working day.
- 2 · Size and quotationOur usual starting point (salt works / salt trader (Mithapur–Okha coast)): 40–60 MT, 12–16 m deck, Concrete (RCC) with sloped drain. The quotation comes with the foundation drawing.
- 3 · Foundation on siteYour civil contractor builds the concrete pedestals to our drawing; we can check the levels before the deck arrives.
- 4 · Fabrication and dispatchBuilt and tested in our Ahmedabad workshop; dispatch in about 2 weeks from a commercially cleared order with PO, then delivered and placed on your foundation.
- 5 · Installation and calibrationDeck placed, load cells and indicator connected and calibrated, SMFW stored tares set up (RFID, cameras and boom barrier where ordered), and Legal Metrology verification supported.
- 6 · AMC and serviceAMC, breakdown visits, calibration and annual re-verification support from our technical desk, so the weighbridge stays accurate for years.
