Upleta weighbridges for yards, oil mills and gins.
Upleta is a market town on the Moj river in Rajkot district. Its marketing yard trades groundnut, sesame (til) and cotton from the villages of the taluka, and around it work oil mills, ginning factories, cottonseed crushers and the traders and transporters who move each harvest. Symphony supplies weighbridges, truck scales and dharam kanta (धर्म कांटा) across Upleta taluka, including Bhayavadar, Moti Paneli and Kolki.
In Upleta, a public weighbridge (dharam kanta) or yard trader usually needs a stamped 60 MT, 16 m pit-less weighbridge that takes everything from a farmer's tractor-trolley to a multi-axle truck; a sesame or groundnut trader buying small lots 40 MT on 12 m; a cottonseed crusher or oil mill 60 MT on 16–18 m. Symphony builds it in Ahmedabad and dispatches it about 2 weeks after a cleared order with PO.

Public weighbridges, lot buyers, cottonseed crushers across Upleta taluka.
Public weighbridge (dharam kanta)
Farmers and traders pay per weighment and want a slip they can show the buyer.
Our setup: A stamped 60 MT, 16 m pit-less weighbridge with numbered SMFW slips, a tariff register and a duplicate printer.
Sesame and groundnut lot buyers
Lots are small and the seed is slippery, so every division on the indicator matters on every lot.
Our setup: A 40 MT, 12 m weighbridge, Class III to OIML R76, with a fresh tare for each hired vehicle.
Cottonseed crushers
Kapasia arrives from the gins and oil and oilcake leave by weight, both on trucks.
Our setup: A 60 MT, 16–18 m weighbridge; SMFW reports kapasia bought against oil and khol sold, month by month.

From sesame pick-ups to ten-wheel trucks: sizing one weighbridge for the yard.
Upleta's harvest arrives in many small lots. A farmer may bring a few quintals of sesame in a pick-up, the next a tractor-trolley of groundnut pods, and a trader then sends the whole lot on to an oil mill in a 10-wheel truck. One weighbridge that handles all of them must be long enough for the longest vehicle and accurate enough that the small lot is also fair: a Class III weighbridge to OIML R76, stamped for trade, with a printed SMFW slip carrying vehicle number, party, commodity, gross, tare, net, date and time, gives each seller a record they can check. For a public weighbridge (dharam kanta) the slip is the product: keep numbered SMFW slips, print a duplicate for the trader, and keep the indicator display readable from the driver's side. Sesame is small and slippery and leaks through gaps in a trolley, so ask sellers to weigh the vehicle empty after unloading rather than relying on a stored tare. Cottonseed crushers buy kapasia from the gins by the truckload and sell oil and oilcake (khol) by weight, so inward and outward weighments should sit in separate registers. Arrivals peak from October to January; have the weighbridge stamped under Legal Metrology before the first arrivals, and keep the annual re-verification date in the diary. Symphony gives stamping support. Where the plot has black soil, follow the foundation drawing and keep water away from the pedestals in the monsoon.
