Vapi weighbridges for chemical and paper plants.
Vapi runs on chemistry and paper: the Vapi GIDC estate packs dye, pigment, pharma, paper and plastics units onto tight plots that send tankers, drum trucks and paper reels out on every shift, and the Sarigam and Umbergaon estates add more chemical, engineering and plastics plants. Symphony supplies weighbridges, truck scales and dharam kanta (धर्म कांटा) across Vapi, Bhilad, Sarigam and Umbergaon.
For a Vapi GIDC chemical or dye unit, a 60 MT weighbridge with a 16–18 m concrete (RCC) deck and sealed IP67/IP68 load cells weighs tankers and drum trucks against the invoice; a paper mill receiving waste-paper bales needs an 18 m deck of 60–80 MT so long trucks weigh in one go. Symphony builds it in Ahmedabad.
When the buyer re-weighs, your slip should stand up.
- Protected for a chemical yardConcrete (RCC) or coated decks, sealed IP67/IP68 load cells and a closed cabin against spills, washing water and fumes.
- Tanker weights that matchClass III OIML R76 accuracy, calibration and Legal Metrology stamping support, so your weighbridge stays within its permitted error and weight disputes are easier to settle.
- An unmanned gate for every shiftRFID, cameras and a boom barrier with SMFW weigh tankers round the clock and keep a photo of each trip.
Who needs one in Vapi: Dyes and dye intermediates, pigments, agrochemical and pharma units, paper and board mills buying waste paper and boiler fuel, plastics and packaging plants, transporters and tanker fleets, and the engineering, chemical and plastics plants of the Sarigam and Umbergaon GIDC estates.
Also called a dharam kanta (धर्म कांटा), truck scale or weigh bridge. We also serve Bhilad, Sarigam, Umbergaon, Chala, Balitha.
Dye units, paper mills and tanker fleets.
Dye and pigment units
Drums, bags and tankers leave every shift, and spills, washing water and fumes in the yard attack bare steel.
Our setup: A 40–60 MT, 12–16 m concrete (RCC) deck with sealed load cells and a closed cabin.
Paper and board mills
Waste-paper bales and boiler fuel arrive in long, bulky trucks, and the mill pays its suppliers on the net weight.
Our setup: An 18 m deck of 60–80 MT, so the longest truck weighs in one go.
Tanker fleets and transporters
Tankers run between plants day and night, and every trip needs a weight that matches the invoice.
Our setup: A 60 MT, 16–18 m pit-less deck with the unmanned option: RFID, cameras and a boom barrier.

Spills, fumes and tight plots: plan the deck around them.
In a dense chemical estate the weighbridge stands in a yard where acid, solvent and dye spills, washing water and fumes are part of daily work, so the deck and the electronics must be protected: a concrete (RCC) deck or well-coated steel, sealed IP67/IP68 load cells, a raised junction box and a closed indicator cabin. Tankers are weighed loaded and empty, and the net must match the invoice and the receiving plant's own weighbridge; a stamped Class III weighbridge, a clean deck gap and regular calibration keep your weighbridge within its permitted error. Paper and board mills receive waste-paper bales and boiler fuel in long, bulky loads, so an 18 m deck avoids weighing a truck in parts. Space inside older GIDC plots is tight, so the deck is planned around the gate: a pit-less deck with short ramps, or a pit-type deck with a sump and drain where the yard must stay flush. Vapi also gets heavy monsoon rain, so the approach and the deck surround need drains.

Starting points only. Send your heaviest truck and daily traffic and we confirm the size.
From the tanker gate to a stamped slip.
Six steps for your project in Vapi. Most of the waiting is the foundation curing, so the drawing comes first.
- 1 · Your traffic in VapiTell us the heaviest vehicle you weigh (here, typically tankers, drum trucks), the space at the gate and the daily count. An engineer replies within one working day.
- 2 · Size and quotationOur usual starting point (chemical / dye-intermediate unit): 40–60 MT, 12–18 m deck, Concrete (RCC). The quotation comes with the foundation drawing.
- 3 · Foundation on siteYour civil contractor builds it to our drawing; a pit-type deck needs a drained pit with a sump. We can check the levels before the deck arrives.
- 4 · Fabrication and dispatchBuilt and tested in our Ahmedabad workshop; dispatch in about 2 weeks from a commercially cleared order with PO, then delivered and placed on your foundation.
- 5 · Installation and calibrationDeck placed, load cells and indicator connected and calibrated, SMFW stored tares set up (RFID, cameras and boom barrier where ordered), and Legal Metrology verification supported.
- 6 · AMC and serviceAMC, breakdown visits, calibration and annual re-verification support from our technical desk, so the weighbridge stays accurate for years.
