Then the ground: much of the taluka is low, with clayey, often saline soil near the coast and water standing in the monsoon, so build the foundation on firm soil after a soil check, raise the weighbridge above the local flood level, and keep a drain around it. A concrete (RCC) weighbridge, with a 25-year structural warranty on the RCC (T&C), suits sand and brick suppliers.
